Agility and One day scrum - Real life experience.

Hi All,

This is with respect to the Agile methodology.  However we are seeing many interesting scope in the real world experience for achieving the goals.   This world is moving very fast in all directions. human evolution also in the faster space.   Agility is an important factor even in our activities learning.  We can not achieve everything but we have many wish list.  So agility in prioritizing the list, keep refining the list and closing the tasks step by step.  This requires focus  and concentration on the on certain tasks during short duration (Sprint) is important.  Daily brushing up the activities and daily progress and impediment removal are important. this is more like the daily scrum call.    In Daily tasks we may have give scope for many important factors for life .. like health, exercise, family, good sleep,  work, financial management,  society, values and culture, our relatives, educating others..communication....  main things is self realization of impediments, risks on our way,

Agility has good role in life.  Agile recommends self organisation of team, enjoying and doing the work,  Team efforts, becoming a Team player than a self oriented personality,  and responsible on the activities.   Tasks can be for the team.  In family we as team need to help achieve the goals.  We can not just mention it is his responsibility.

  • Self organising
  • Step by step growth
  • sharing knowledge
  • Transparent communication
  • Helps for Self Analysis
  • Becoming a Team player
  • Feedback and mentoring
  • Lessons learned -    Analysis on what went wrong, what is done best, what are improvements to be continued.
  • Thanks giving....  :)
  • We are dealing with human beings.. not resources..So emotions, experiences,  g
Agile recommends cross functional teams.  We know that knowledge and skillwise everybody are not equal.  Everybody can not learn everything. One person may be expert in specific sport another person may be specific scientific space. some people are very experienced some people are just learning  This makes everybody unique.    one example.. one technical expert very talented person  become project manager.  He slowly become micro-manager.  Because he, according to his experience,  one task can be completed in one day.  but one fresher candidate takes it 10 days to complete. He become impatient and started creating pressure to the fresher candidate.  This makes the project situation worst.    In Scrum the estimations are based on the input by cross functional team. not based on the individual expert or forcing to some point.    In real life also we should not be too specific with others on the expectations but mentor/guide them to reach the level.  also identifying the removing time wastages.

We can think about a daily sprint - starting the daily activity planning in morning complete the task and have retrospective in the evening.
